What is a plaster coat on foundation?
Putting the plaster coat on this concrete slab foundation...AKA making it look pretty.
Can also sometimes be referred to as Parging.
We apply plaster coat to our foundations when building custom homes on a client's lot towards the end of the build process, before final grade. The plaster coat will give it a finished "polished" look, it covers over the rough spots and makes it cosmetically pleasing. This is not a structural process but certainly pleasing on the eyes and boost curb appeal. When build a home on your lot it is worth making sure your builder plans to include plastering the foundation as part of their build specifications.
